Making cider (20121118_110617)Making my first hard cider: one one-gallon jug of Whole Foods 365 organic unfiltered apple juice (using the orignal container with but with a plastic cap and airlock) pitched with one packet Danstar Nottingham Ale Yeast. It’s fermenting now in the basement at about 65° F (down from almost 70° when pitched yesterday afternoon). We’ll see how this goes …
