chicagopast’s post (“via Noah”) links to the Cermak Road Bridge page on historicbridges.org, a site whose webmaster Nathan Holth has an interesting looking book coming out next month on Chicago’s Bridges.
Taping in Chicago all this week, the Conan show yesterday jumped a 10-foot bratwurst across the open State Street bascule bridge over the Chicago River.
ETA (spoiler alert!): via Loop North News, I just learned that all five episodes’ worth of State Street bridge jumps were done Sunday morning.
